Main Street Capital Raises Dividend by 3.9%

Main Street Capital lifted its regular monthly dividend for the third quarter of 2026 to $0.265 a share, up from the second quarter’s level by 1.9% and up 3.9% from the third quarter of 2025.

The new quarterly total for July, August and September comes to $0.795 a share. In addition, the company declared a supplemental dividend of $0.30 a share, payable in June 2026.

The combined $1.095 per share in dividends declared for the period is equal to an annualized current yield of 7.9% based on Main Street’s May 4 closing price of $55.76.

Main Street said the latest declarations bring cumulative cash dividends since its October 2007 IPO to $50.11 per share, versus the original $15.00 IPO price. The company said it has periodically raised its regular monthly dividend since going public and has never cut it.

The July, August and September dividends will be paid on July 15, August 14 and September 15, respectively, with record dates on July 8, August 7 and September 8. The June supplemental dividend will be paid on June 29, with a record date of June 22.
