Winmark Corp Announces Board Changes and Franchise Growth

Winmark Corporation said Lawrence A. Barbetta will not stand for re-election to the board at the April 2027 annual meeting, ending a board tenure that began in 2012. He currently serves on the audit committee.

The company also added Stephanie S. Hoppe to its board, appointing her to the compensation and nominating committees. Hoppe is vice president of omnichannel marketing at Casey’s General Stores and has more than 20 years of senior marketing and brand leadership experience across consumer, franchise and multi-unit retail businesses, including roles at Cicis Pizza and 7-Eleven.

At the operating level, Winmark said that as of March 28, 2026 it had 1,383 franchises in operation and more than 2,800 available territories. It also said 79 additional franchises had been awarded but were not yet open. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved 0.07% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $372.29.
