Amcor named two senior leaders to key roles as it looks to accelerate growth across its global packaging businesses.
Ryan Yost will become Division President, Global Flexible Packaging Solutions, succeeding Fred Stephan. Yost spent 25 years at Avery Dennison and most recently led its $6 billion Materials Group. Amcor said he will focus on organic growth across a flexible packaging platform that serves healthcare, protein, pet food, liquids, beauty and personal care, and food service. He will be based in the U.S.
Kate Pearlman was appointed Senior Vice President, Investor Relations & Treasury, succeeding Tracey Whitehead. Pearlman joins from Lowe’s, where she was Vice President, Investor Relations and Treasurer. In her new role, she will oversee both investor relations and treasury and report to CFO Stephen Scherger. She will also be based in the U.S.
Both outgoing executives will stay on as advisors through Dec. 31, 2026. Amcor said Stephan is retiring, while Whitehead is remaining in Australia and pursuing opportunities there.
The appointments come as Amcor says it is positioning itself for its next phase of growth. The company said it generates $23 billion in annualized sales, operates more than 400 locations and employs over 75,000 people in more than 40 countries. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved 1.96% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $41.395. For the full picture, make sure to review Amcor's 8-K report.
