News Corp Repurchases 7.8M Shares, Spending $195.9M

News Corp said it bought back 7,813,776 shares on the prior trading day and spent US$195.9 million on those purchases. That compares with 76,679 shares bought back the day before, for US$2.0 million.

The company reported the highest price paid in the program was US$27.60 a share, versus US$26.69 in the previous update. The lowest price paid was US$22.20, down from US$25.63 in the prior disclosure.

News Corp’s 2025 repurchase program authorizes up to US$1 billion of its Nasdaq-listed Class A and Class B common stock. As of the latest filing, it has spent about US$304.7 million under the program, leaving roughly US$695.3 million of capacity.
