Mondelez International said it has named Amit Banati as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective July 1, 2026.
Banati is joining from Kenvue, where he most recently served as chief financial officer. Before that, he was vice chair and chief financial officer at Kellanova, formerly Kellogg Company. His background also includes leadership roles at Kellogg, Procter & Gamble, Cadbury Schweppes and Mondelez predecessor Kraft Foods.
The move comes as Luca Zaramella shifts from chief financial officer to chief operating officer. In that role, he will focus on Mondelez’s commercial operations, including its four geographic regions, corporate sales, marketing and supply chain.
Mondelez said Zaramella spent eight years as CFO. The company said Banati will report directly to Chair and Chief Executive Officer Dirk van de Put and join the leadership team.
The company also pointed to its 2025 net revenues of about $38.5 billion and said it operates in more than 150 countries. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares -1.22% to a price of $60.12. Check out the company's full 8-K submission here.
