AbCellera Biologics to Release Phase 2 Trial Results on ABCL635

AbCellera said it will release top-line results from its phase 2 trial of ABCL635 on Aug. 10, setting up the first readout from the program since it entered the clinic in July 2025.

The company said the study is evaluating ABCL635 for moderate-to-severe vasomotor symptoms due to menopause, commonly known as hot flashes. The trial is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study enrolling about 80 postmenopausal women.

ABCL635 is the first program from AbCellera’s GPCR and ion channel platform to advance into the pipeline. The drug targets NK3R, a clinically validated receptor on KNDY neurons in the hypothalamus, and is being developed as a non-hormonal treatment.

AbCellera also said it will host an investor conference call at 4:30 a.m. Pacific time, or 7:30 a.m. Eastern time, on the same day as the data release. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved 6.13%, and are now trading at a price of $6.93. If you want to know more, read the company's complete 8-K report here.
