Lumen Technologies said its board approved moving the company’s common stock and two Qwest Corp. debt issues from the New York Stock Exchange to Nasdaq.
The company expects the transfer to take effect after the close of trading on Oct. 5, 2026, with listing on Nasdaq beginning at the open on Oct. 6, 2026. Lumen said its shares will continue trading under the ticker “LUMN,” while the Qwest notes will keep the symbols “CTGG” and “CTHH.”
The move covers Lumen’s common stock and Qwest Corp.’s 6.500% notes due 2051 and 6.750% notes due 2052. Lumen and Qwest have already filed applications to list the securities on Nasdaq and plan to file a Form 25 to complete the NYSE delisting.
Chief Executive Kate Johnson said the company is making the shift as it “transform[s] into an enterprise networking company for AI,” adding that Nasdaq better fits the company’s technology-focused strategy.
Lumen said the transfer is not expected to change its operations, financial condition, or reporting obligations, and shareholders do not need to take any action. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved -4.41% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $5.86. Check out the company's full 8-K submission here.
