Cboe Global Markets said its 25-year extension of the exclusive licensing agreement with S&P Dow Jones Indices will leave 2026 royalty fee terms unchanged, with the revised terms starting in 2027.
The company said the 2027 royalty fee reset is expected to have a de minimis effect on 2027 net revenue growth, citing organic volume growth, ecosystem-driven volume growth, pricing optimization and business execution as offsetting factors. Cboe said it expects future royalty fee adjustments to be smaller than the 2027 reset.
Cboe said it will provide more specific 2027 organic total net revenue guidance in February alongside its fourth-quarter earnings report.
The agreement extends the companies’ relationship through 2051. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved 3.35% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $261.75. For the full picture, make sure to review Cboe Global Markets's 8-K report.
