Verra Mobility has appointed Jon Newhard as president and chief executive officer, effective Nov. 1, 2026, replacing interim CEO Jon Keyser, who has led the company since June 2026.
Newhard arrives after more than two decades in transportation and mobility roles, most recently as chief executive officer of Yunex Traffic GmbH. His background also includes CEO roles at Clinc, Advanced Traffic Solutions Inc. and leadership posts at Cubic ITS. Verra said the board chose him after a comprehensive search.
The leadership change comes after a period of transition under Keyser. The company said Keyser worked to stabilize the business, simplify the organizational structure and advance operational priorities. He will stay on in an advisory role before departing.
Chairman Patrick Byrne said Newhard brings a track record of improving financial performance and scaling businesses through periods of change. Newhard said Verra has strong business fundamentals and that he plans to build on its existing strengths.
