Verra Mobility named Jon Newhard as its next president and chief executive officer, effective Nov. 1, 2026, replacing interim CEO Jon Keyser, who has held the role since June 2026.
Newhard arrives after more than two decades in transportation and mobility roles. Most recently, he was chief executive officer of Yunex Traffic GmbH, where he oversaw strategy, operations and financial performance across a global footprint. His background also includes leadership posts at Clinc, Cubic ITS and Advanced Traffic Solutions, where he led a turnaround and growth strategy before the company was acquired by Cubic.
The leadership change follows a period in which the company said Keyser helped stabilize the business, simplify its organizational structure and advance operational priorities. Keyser will remain in an advisory capacity during the transition before departing to pursue other opportunities.
Verra Mobility did not disclose any financial figures in the announcement. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved -3.55% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $2.99. If you want to know more, read the company's complete 8-K report here.
