RB Global said it expects full-year 2026 results to land at the high end of the outlook it gave on Aug. 4, with gross transaction value growth still projected at 9% to 11% and adjusted EBITDA guided at $1.495 billion to $1.545 billion.
The company also announced a broad leadership reshuffle effective immediately. Steve Steinberg was promoted to chief financial officer, replacing Eric Guerin, who is departing. Steinberg had been senior vice president and head of strategic planning and decision support, overseeing strategic portfolio management, global FP&A, commercial operations, pricing and field enablement.
Shiv Dutt was named chief digital and strategy officer in a newly created role. He will lead enterprise technology, digital strategy and M&A strategy, while continuing to oversee product and engineering for the heavy equipment and transportation business. Dutt most recently served as executive vice president and head of Ritchie Bros. Marketplace.
Jake Lawson was promoted to president of heavy equipment and transportation North America, another newly created role. He will take charge of consolidated sales, operations, marketing, commercial operations, training and analytics in that business. Lawson had most recently been president and head of North America sales.
Sam Wyant was promoted to president of auto North America and international, with responsibility for sales, seller marketing, commercial operations, strategic accounts, regional sales and international auto. He previously held senior sales and commercial leadership roles at IAA, Ritchie Bros. and Volvo Construction Equipment.
RB Global said Steve Lewis, chief operating officer, is also leaving the company as part of the changes.
The company said the organizational update is intended to create clearer business-unit ownership and align leadership with its growth drivers. It also said Steinberg will focus on margin expansion, balance-sheet flexibility, capital allocation, dividends and stock repurchases. Today the company's shares have moved -0.8% to a price of $80.40. For more information, read the company's full 8-K submission here.
