Enerpac Tool Group expanded its board from eight to nine directors and elected Charles T. Lauber as the new member, effective Oct. 8, 2026.
Lauber arrives after a 27-year career at A. O. Smith, where he most recently served from 2019 to 2026 as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Before that, he spent 15 years at Ernst & Young, rising to senior manager. He also currently serves on the board of H.B. Fuller, where he sits on the Audit Committee and the Personnel & Compensation Committee.
The appointment adds a finance executive with more than 40 years of experience in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, capital allocation and global operations. Enerpac’s chairman, Jim Ferland, said the company is adding Lauber’s financial leadership and public-company governance experience to the board. Lauber said he is joining a company with a strong reputation in heavy industrial tools, services and solutions.
Enerpac, founded in 1910 and headquartered in Milwaukee, operates in more than 100 countries and focuses on high-pressure hydraulic tools, controlled force products and heavy-load positioning solutions. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved -0.48% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $34.91.
