Pebblebrook Hotel Trust said it completed the sale of Hotel Zags, a 174-room property in Portland, Oregon, for $10.0 million on October 8, 2026.
The company said the hotel’s estimated net operating loss for the trailing 12 months ended August 31, 2026 was $0.8 million, after an assumed annual capital reserve equal to 4.0% of total hotel revenues. Estimated hotel EBITDA for the same period was a loss of $0.6 million.
Pebblebrook said the sale proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including possible repurchases of common or preferred shares and other capital allocation priorities. The company said the transaction is not expected to affect its third-quarter 2026 outlook. It said the sale will be reflected in fourth-quarter results and in its updated full-year 2026 outlook.
Pebblebrook owns 42 hotels with about 10,800 guest rooms across 14 urban and resort markets. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares 1.44% to a price of $18.98. Check out the company's full 8-K submission here.
